The Abortion-Vaccine-Autism Link and What to Do

Shouldn’t we determine whether injecting the DNA from aborted babies into our children is safe, oh yeah, and moral too?
What’s a Catholic to do?
Let’s not mince words here. We’ve got a problem. Last fall a new study published in the American Academy of Pediatrics’ journal Pediatrics found a parent-reported autism prevalence rate of one in every 91 American children, including one in 58 boys. For years, groups like Autism Speaks and public figures like Jenny McCarthy and John Travolta have been trying to find out what is causing this dramatic rise in the number of reported cases of autism. For a time, vaccines were thought to be the culprit because of the thimerosal (a mercury preservative) contained in some vaccines. Now something even more sinister may be the deadly link: the DNA from voluntarily aborted babies that is used as a base ingredient in many childhood vaccines. New research is underway now after the latest findings reinforced the fact that the use of these tainted vaccines correlate perfectly with the spike in autism rates around the world.
This spring Dr. Theresa Deisher, president of the Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute (SCPI), as well as development director for Ave Maria Biotechnology Company received a half-million dollar grant to study the link between residual DNA from voluntarily aborted babies in childhood vaccines and autism. This comes on the heels of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announcing that they had analyzed a subset of worldwide autism disorder incidence data and indentified 1988 as a critical “changepoint” in the rate of rise of autism.
According to Dr. Deisher the only environmental event correlating with this statistical autism trend and the “changepoint” the EPA identified was the introduction of vaccines tainted with the tissues from voluntarily aborted babies. And there is even more alarming news when you look at other “changepoints” both in the USA and the rest of the world:
We see a change point in 1988 and then we see another change point in 1995 and what both years are associated with is not mercury in the vaccines, it is not relaxed diagnosis (of autism), it is not microwaves, it is not cell phones, it is not sunscreen… it is not any of these sociological or environmental factors because we have looked at them all.
So what is it?
The one event we can find over decades and across continents that is associated with ALL these “changepoints” is the introduction to these countries of aborted fetal cells in produced vaccines.
One of the “changepoints” correlates in the United States with 1995, the same year the chicken pox vaccine tainted with aborted babies was introduced. “And the autism rise from that year forward is dramatic after that year,” said Deisher, who went on:
Further, vaccinating your children against chicken pox may not even be necessary.
Chicken pox vaccine is a vaccine purely for convenience. We have mostly two-parent income families and for them chicken pox is very inconvenient. Before the tainted-vaccine was available, one million children got chicken pox every year in this country. And according to the Centers for Disease Control 135 children died. Compare this to 1 in 91 who will develop autism.
Fair Labeling
A lot of parents would like to know if the vaccines they are injecting into their child were produced using the tissues from voluntarily aborted babies. Even if they are not worried about inflicting autism on their child, many Catholic parents believe it is morally reprehensible and against Church teachings. Unfortunately, it is not easy to determine which vaccines are abortion-free.
No law requires companies to tell parents which vaccines contain the DNA from aborted babies. “That’s correct,” said Deisher:
“There is nothing requiring disclosure. On the package insert, which most consumers don’t read, some will state ‘manufactured using human diploid cells’ which are cell lines from an aborted baby. But sometimes that information is coded and not readily understandable to the average consumer.
Sadly, in the United States for vaccines like chicken pox, MMR and others there are no alternatives available that are not tainted with the DNA from voluntarily aborted babies. There is a list of the tainted vaccines and some of the alternatives that are available at the Children of God for Life website.

Catholic Teachings
Catholic parents who want to take the moral high ground and not vaccinate their children with tainted vaccines certainly have the right to do so. The Pontifical Academy for Life (PLA) in 2005 told Catholics that they have “a grave responsibility to use alternative vaccines and to make a conscientious objection with regard to those which have moral problems.”
But how often do you hear of a Catholic telling their physician they do not intend to vaccinate their children because of the moral problems of vaccines produced with the tissue from voluntarily aborted babies?
The PLA further stated that just because these vaccines are lawful to use does not let a Catholic off the hook either. In fact, we are either passively or actively supporting the original evil act of abortion when we knowingly choose to use these tainted vaccines and do not express our outrage each time:
The lawfulness of the use of these vaccines should not be misinterpreted as a declaration of the lawfulness of their production, marketing and use, but is to be understood as being a passive material cooperation (emphasis added) and, in its mildest and remotest sense, also active material cooperation , morally justified as an “extrema ratio” due to the necessity to provide for the good of one’s children and of the people who come in contact with the children — especially pregnant women. Such cooperation occurs in a context of moral coercion of the conscience of parents, who are forced to choose to act against their conscience or otherwise, to put the health of their children and of the population as a whole at risk. This is an unjust alternative choice, which must be eliminated as soon as possible.
Maybe if more Catholics did express their outrage for having to use vaccines made from the DNA of innocent babies voluntarily aborted by their mothers, then manufacturers would create new vaccines and eliminate this “unjust alternative choice.”
Maybe if more Catholics would refuse vaccination because they do not want to passively or actively support the killing of innocent babies in the womb then we could stop the rise in autism rates.
Ultimately the ends can never justify the means and in this case using the DNA from voluntarily aborted babies to save us from disease needs to end.

  1. Thank you Monica for posting at the end of my other post!! Erika, I hope you can use this for communications with the powers that be. I think for me the 2 crucial statements in this article are as follows:

It is easier to take the highway that everyone(other dioceses in this case)is taking because that requires less effort and investigation, but we are called to seek truth and to FIGHT for justice....God be with us!

  2. Thanks for posting up here Debi. I mentioned to Erika to come check it out.

I have a few more comments. First off, this is a good read as well if you have time, it spells things out even more when it comes to the Church's standpoint
    http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1452002/posts

    As for my further comments...

After reading the above link, I think the Church's main issue with the vaccine thing as a whole is the rubella. And I agree, from what I have read it is a mild disease with scary effects on pregnant women/their babies during the first trimester. And yes, this is serious. I don't want to play that down. My hubby and I were discussing it further last night, as it's really given me pause lately, and he made the point of the old saying, "poor planning on your part doesn't constitute an emergency on mine." Meaning, why is it up to us to vaccinate our children against rubella, shouldn't it be a mother's job to take the necessary precautions (vaccination, whatever) before pregnancy). I hadn't yet looked at it in that light, and he really has a point. You still have the stem cell issue, whether you're vaccinating as a child or an adult, but that aside... I believe there is a shot out there that is Rubella only (vs. MMR) but it appears that it too is grown from the human diploid cells. Lose lose.

Honestly, I could possibly be persuaded to vaccinate (my kids) against rubella if it weren't for the darn stem-cell issue. I can see both sides of that one and am really trying to discern where I stand. And if I could get it as an individual component and not with the MMR that would make a big difference. That shot still just makes me very uneasy. I realize that "the experts" say there is no hard and fast link between the MMR and autism, but the fact that the current rate of autism in the US is around 1/100 (greater for boys) really scares me. I just don't know that I can bring myself to roll the dice. Not that I would love an autistic child any less, but if I could prevent my child from having to go through life with autism then by all means that would be my choice. I just think between the thimerosal, the live viruses president, and the human DNA, it is awfully suspect. It just makes me uneasy.

The stem cell thing is just so sick. I commented (to someone, I've discussed this so much that I don't even remember where), that I hate to sound overly simplistic, but if abortion weren't legal/done in the first place, then they (big-pharma *shudder*) would have had to develop this vaccine by some other means. It's just plain evil, and I realize, as the link I posted above says, that the farther down the line you go (pharmaceuticals, marketing, doctors, parents, consumers, etc.) that the moral gravity lessens due to lack of association, but still, you can't take an evil and make it good. You just can't.

And now I'm rambling. That's all (for now).

  3. Okay, one more thing. I intend to talk to our doc next time we're in and see who I can write (Merck, I assume, they're who produce the MMR currently on the market) to voice my concern with the use of the stem cells (and the fact that they won't split the MMR into three separate components...as an aside, it was done for awhile, but they stopped to focus their efforts on other things. I've heard a theory that if enough people are refusing the MMR, maybe they will begin splitting the components again. Still have the stem cell issue, though). I digress. My point was, I intend to write a letter, or whatever my doc thinks is the best route, voicing my distaste. Now, I'm not naive enough to think that my measly little letter to some pharmaceutical mogul is going to make a sniff of a difference, but I still feel like it's something I need to do. And really, if everyone who had issues with the stem cells (which should be all Catholics, and I would hope others as well) would start voicing their distaste, well then doggone it maybe something would finally get done. I mean, we all know that if all Catholics were to have voted as they should, Obama wouldn't have had a chance at the White House. Not trying to take political jabs, just making a point. I mean, I realize the old, "how can one person make a difference" thing...but if enough "one persons" try to make a difference...

Okay. NOW, I am done. For now.

  4. sorry it's taken me a while to get over here. First, Monica a wise ol elephant once said: "A person's a person, no matter how small." That simple statement has a signifance both for the pro-lifers fighting for the fights of the littlest ones in the womb but also for those of us voters and citizens who can make a difference, one step at a time. you are right a letter probably will not put a dent on Merk or the FDA but it's something that YOU can do. If Catholics were 'banned' from using these vaccines then they would definitely be hearing from the people and may have even already come up with realistic alternatives by now for those concerned.

  5. Also: It definitely was a little refreshing to see SOMEone in the Catholic media broaching the subject but to Mr. Armstrong I'd have to say, 'honey you have no idea just how big a deal this is!'
When I first read about this study (which I did include a letter from one of the dr's involved in our petition btw), I found it deeply ironic. I mean here we are vaccinationg our kids against Rubella to prevent congenital rubella syndrome in unborn babies using stem-cell tissue from babies who'd been aborted voluntarily...and now there's a chance that those poor babies' DNA is mixing with other innoncent children's DNA and possibly causing autism?
why are there not more people who see a real problem with this?

  6. oh and I also wonder if people like Mark know that there are Bishops within our own country who deny parents the right to refuse these vaccines when no other alternatives exist or who deny parents the right to give their kids a Catholic education because the 'law won't let them'.

  7. Erika, you could always comment on the article...

    Love the Seuss quote btw

  9. I felt the need to comment here. The problem is not only with using aborted fetal DNA, but what about using diseased animal DNA?

I have 5 vaccine-injured victims in my family. Our injuries range from eye nerve damage (learning disability), partial hearing loss, muscle wasting disease, encephalitis/meningitis, seizure disorder, and death. Vaccines don't work and there isn't a shred of scientific evidence to prove that they do.

If you really want to know what vaccines have done to our gene pool, you must read, "Fear of the Invisible" by Janine Roberts. You will then understand why our own government wants this book off the shelves.

If one were to read the Bible, they would discover that God instructs us NOT to tamper with our blood-which is our lifeline. He tells us not to mix our blood with the blood of the "sacrificed" in the Old Testament. Well, do you know what vaccine manufacturers call the aborted babies and animals used for vaccine manufacturing? The SACRIFICED. There isn't a vaccine out there that doesn't use one of those 2 ingredients. Read the book of Revelation to find out what He says He will do to the pharmaceutical industry (those who practice the evil, murdering, loving of money deeds).

Vaccines are nothing short of evil. What is even more upsetting is that these pathogens found in them are sexually transmitted and genetic. That is what caused Autism and other diseases.
