Super Easy Pancake/Maple Syrup

One of my favorite recipes and also one of the easiest is for Homemade Maple Syrup. This actually tastes very good and better than my $16 bottle from Vermont;)

1 cup water

2 cups sugar

1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring

Boil water and sugar for 5 minutes and then add the maple flavoring. Let cool and then you can pour it into a pancake syrup bottle or maple syrup jug. Store either in the pantry or in the fridge.

  1. What a great frugal and easy to make recipe! Maple Syrup is so expensive in the UK so I am going to try this, just need to find some maple flavouring. Do you buy that like you do vanilla essence, food colouring etc in those little plastic bottles or is it something else?

Enjoy your pancakes and waffles and french toast! BTW, do you have any more frugal recipes like this to share?! We're all ears!!!

Thank you for your email btw, it meant so much to me, to us. I will write back soon, filling in Matilda's Disability Living Allowance application is one of the most stressful things i've ever had to do...it will be done soon. Much love and blessings to you all xxx
